This is a 3D printed camera grip for the CMF phone. It attaches with three M2 screws and you can customize its position for better handling while filming.

It's fully 3D printable (except for the screws), so it's a cheap and easy solution for anyone who loves phone photography or videography.

Why I Designed It

Filming with my phone was super awkward, and the camera grips I found were too expensive. So, I decided to make my own.

I downloaded Fusion 360 and spent a lot of time learning it. After a lot of brainstorming, numerous test prints, and borrowing my dad’s 3D printer, I finally came up with this design.

What Makes This Model Unique

• All parts are 100% 3D printable (excluding the screws used to attach it to the phone)
• Carefully designed to be printable without any supports
• All parts can be printed at the same time, even on the smallest A1 mini
• Customizable Positions: Quickly switch from landscape to portrait in a second by just rotating your phone
• Also works as a tripod (if you have printed it with a high enough infill percentage)

Printing Instructions

• Filament: I used PLA, but any filament should work.
• Layer Height: Tested with 0.16 layer height, but everything under 0.3 should work perfectly.
• Infill: At least 30% infill to keep it sturdy.
• Supports: No supports needed.
• Orientation: All models have been exported to be in the right orientation to print without any supports

Make sure to clean the build plate before printing to avoid print failures.
