I wanted a way to easily mount my Insta360 Go 3 and X3 to my Arrma Typhon 6s. I wanted a mount that didn't have to be removed when not in use, so I made this design which mounts to the rear shock tower with two screws and can easily hold a normal action camera.
There are two styles and two setups.
LP = Low Profile. This is great if you have an M5 screw or just want your camera lower.
HP = High Profile. This is if you want to use the normal GoPro screw with handle (so it clears the shock tower)
Centered = mounting tabs are centered. This is if you have a camera like the Go 3/X3 in vertical, so the optical center aligns with the car.
Offset = 15mm offset on mounting tabs. This is so most normal action cams like the GoPro Heroes can be aligned with proper optical center.
You can use this camera mount with the two screws you will have to remove, but I'd recommend using 4mm longer screws to maintain structural integrity.
