The Lotus‑Shaped Warm Bowl from the Northern Song Dynasty is a celadon porcelain piece crafted by the Ru Kiln during the Northern Song period. Primarily used as a wine-warming vessel, it was originally designed to be paired with a ewer—this type of vessel enjoyed widespread popularity from the Late Tang through the Song dynasties.
