Switch Recommendations:

The model does not include mechanical keyboard switches; you’ll need to purchase them separately. Just head over to Taobao or Pinduoduo and pick up a budget-friendly set—you’ll be fine. If you’re new to switches, I’d recommend starting with Blue switches. It’s also a good idea to opt for switches that don’t feature dust‑proof edges.

Installation Tips:

1. Be sure to trim off the four long, thin protrusions inside the cover.

2. Pay close attention to the installation orientation: The cross-shaped structure has one side that’s slightly longer, which corresponds to the long edge of the switch. We recommend first assembling the top cover with the switches without attaching the base—once you’ve confirmed that the mechanism clicks into place smoothly and pops up as intended, then proceed to secure it onto the base.

3. If the fit isn’t quite right, feel free to enlarge or fill in the holes as needed. If the issue persists despite your adjustments, we suggest tweaking the compensation settings—sorry about that!

Material Selection:

I’ve been testing with PLA; PETG hasn’t been evaluated yet. If you encounter issues with holes that are either too large or too small, please feel free to make minor adjustments to the hole compensation settings.
