This 3D model is a rectangular piece with two holes, precisely sized (1.4mm holes) to fit thumbtacks. It is designed to match the screw hole locations of the small Ikea Lack wall shelf, serving as a drilling guide for installing drywall anchors and screws.

By using thumbtacks as markers, this guide ensures accurate drilling into the drywall. Additionally, the 2.6mm thickness can help hold a level to ensure the shelf will be perfectly aligned (rescale the z-dimension if needed for your application). I designed and used this tool to simplify the installation process because I can be lazy sometimes.
 

The idea is to place the Drill Guide where you want the shelf, use a level to ensure it is aligned, and then press the thumbtacks through the hole locations and into the drywall to mark the drill locations. Perfect everytime👍.
