This was inspired by s_gutz's direct drive extruder mount, and I decided to try my own take on it. I wanted to use as many stock parts as possible and not lose any bed space.

The mount also includes a mount for a 18mm Sensor. I use capacitive for glass but inductive will fit just as well if it is 18mm. The offsets for the probe is -50MM X and -10MM Y. Lookup how to set these in your printer firmware, although it is not necessary if you do not have a Z probe.

UPDATE (2/21/18)

The version 2 design works well enough, however it has a few clearance issues. The 18MM probe is quite tight, but will fit with a little coaxing. The angles to brace the stepper motor are off, so they will need to be sanded or clipped off. Both of these will be updated soon! It is still vastly better than the first version.

UPDATE (2/19/2018)

I have uploaded the files for the two part design!! It has the 18MM mount, a brace for the motor, ziptie mounts for the wires, and it's now flat printable. The only caveat is this version is untested, however it is currently being made on my printer.
