Pocket Air Hockey is a compact 3D-printable travel game that turns any smooth table into a mini air hockey match.

The set is designed for quick family play at home, on holidays, at a café, or anywhere you have a table. It includes two mallets, goals, a printed puck, a printable marble option, and a hinged storage case so the full kit can be packed away and carried easily.

There are two ways to play:

1. Puck Mode - use the printed puck with the larger puck goals for a classic tabletop air hockey feel.
2. Marble Mode - use the printed marble or a standard toy marble with the marble-sized goals for a faster rolling version.

The mallets are designed to print in TPU. This makes them quieter, softer on impact, and more forgiving during play. Each mallet also includes an underside recess for a felt pad insert. I used standard chair-bottom felt pads, which help the mallets glide more smoothly across the table.

The goals can be used as printed, but for better grip I recommend adding rubber feet underneath or using a small amount of blue-tac to hold them in place during play.

The storage case is joined with a simple filament hinge. Cut a piece of 1.75 mm filament to size and slide it through the hinge barrels. You can super glue one end of each hinge pin to keep it secure, but do not glue both ends in case you need to remove or replace the hinge pin later.

Pocket Air Hockey is small, portable, quick to set up, and easy for kids and parents to play together. Print it, pack it, and turn almost any table into a mini arcade.
