This is the second gear (not counting the motor pinion) for the Fellowes 12C paper shredder.

I printed mine in polycarbonate filament, but nylon is the preferred material for durability.

You’ll need to remove the small metal insert from the original gear and press it into the printed one. The fit may be tight, a bench vise works well for this. To avoid damaging the gear, place a socket (from a socket wrench or any other hollow tubular spacer) between the vise jaw and the gear on the side with the circular hole. This ensures the insert can be fully pressed into place.

Print settings:

Orientation: print with the circular hole facing the build plate.
Infill: ~70% (or more for strength).
Perimeters: 8 (for good wall thickness and durability).

Lubrication:
Apply a generous amount of grease on the gears (example: https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_oDGofgf or on amazon https://amzn.to/4cX8P9z) and occasionally add oil or use lubricating sheets (example: https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_c4Cfjwc7 or on amazon https://amzn.to/4uuu88d) on the shredder mechanism to keep it running smoothly.
