This is a custom-designed (3D printed texture) reel-to-reel tape spool that evokes the atmosphere of the 1980 Summer Olympic Games held in the Soviet Union.

  • Design & Lettering: The upper section features the text "1980 MOCKBA • MOSKVA 1980" (in Cyrillic and Latin script). The central element is the official Olympic emblem: the stylized lines of the Kremlin's Spasskaya Tower surmounted by the five Olympic rings.
  • Details: The left side displays a boxed number (1 or 2) indicating the side, while the right side features a vintage-style emblem reminiscent of Soviet electronics branding.
  • Construction: It features three large circular viewports and fits the standard "Trident" mounting system.
  • Aesthetics: The black base with white lettering creates a strong "Cold War" retro-industrial look, providing a striking visual contrast when mounted on the silver faceplate of the Akai GX-4000D.
