About the Model & Painting 

The model holds an imposing presence in plain matte black, but multi-tone dry brushing reveals the entire depth of the alien anatomy:

• Chitin Plates & Body: Dry brushed in warm brass as the metallic base tone to highlight the sweeping, organic muscle lines and armored segments.
• Maw & Edge Highlights: Lightly picked out with crisp silver along the outer lip, eye ridges, and sharpest spinal crests to create a sleek, futuristic contrast against the deep black recess.
• Pedestal Base: Finished with a light brush of brass along the beveled edges to frame the sculpture with an aged bronze feel.
