Hello! I'd like to present my design for an open-frame PC case, created as a more sculptural alternative to the usual flat, stacked frame designs. The structure highlights fan lighting as a key visual element, giving the build a distinctive display-style appearance rather than simply housing the hardware. It is designed around the PANORAMA SE Water Block and PANORAMA SE Cooling Radiator, supporting the 394 mm × 120.2 mm radiator size while showcasing airflow and components in a unique way.

⚠️ Important Notice

This design has not yet been physically tested and is being released as a community project. While every effort has been made to ensure proper fitment, some tolerances or dimensions may require minor adjustments depending on your printer, filament, and hardware. Please verify component compatibility before printing and assembling the entire case.

Community feedback is greatly appreciated and will help improve future revisions.

🧩 Parts Used in This Design

Micro-ITX Motherboard
Designed to mount in a compact footprint with open visibility of the components.

PANORAMA SE Water Block
Designed to fit the mounting position shown in the renders.

PANORAMA SE Cooling Radiator
Supports the 394 mm × 120.2 mm radiator used in this build.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 Founders Edition (GPU)
Mounted in a horizontal orientation.

ASUS ROG Loki SFX-L 1000W Power Supply
The PSU tray supports units up to:

13.1 cm × 6.35 cm
(5.16 in × 2.50 in)

🔩 Required Screws & Brass Inserts

Motherboard Mount

• 4 pcs – M3x5x4 AB012 rounded brass heat-insert nuts
• 4 pcs – M3 × 25 mm screws

GPU Mount

• 2 pcs – M3x5x4 AB012 rounded brass heat-insert nuts
• 2 pcs – M3 × 25 mm screws

Radiator Mount

• 16 pcs – UNC 6-32 × 35 mm screws
(4 installed from the top, 12 installed from the bottom)

PSU Mount

• 3 pcs – 6-32 × 10 mm screws

🛠 Assembly Instructions

Step 1 – Assemble the Radiator Section

Using 12 pcs – UNC 6-32 × 35 mm screws, attach the three ventilation chamber pieces together with the fans and secure them to the PANORAMA SE radiator.

The specified screw length is intended for standard 25 mm thick fans.

Step 2 – Install the Rear GPU & PSU Sections

Attach the GPU and PSU rear support pieces to the assembled ventilation chamber.

The parts feature V-shaped and X-shaped interlocking joints, which improve alignment, rigidity, and overall strength.

For additional durability, these joints may be glued after confirming proper fit.

Step 3 – Install the GPU Heat Inserts

Install 2 pcs – M3x5x4 AB012 brass heat-insert nuts into the highlighted holes of the GPU mount using a soldering iron.

Step 4 – Prepare the Motherboard Plate

Install 4 pcs – M3x5x4 AB012 brass heat-insert nuts into the four highlighted mounting holes on the motherboard plate.

Step 5 – Mount the Motherboard Plate

Position the motherboard plate on top of the radiator assembly, align it centrally, and secure it using 4 pcs – UNC 6-32 × 35 mm screws.

Step 6 – Install the Motherboard

Place the four motherboard spacers onto the mounting points.

Position the motherboard on the frame and secure it using 4 pcs – M3 × 25 mm screws.

💡 Notes

• Install brass heat inserts carefully using a soldering iron, keeping them straight while pressing them into place.
• Dry-fit all parts before final tightening or gluing.
• Do not overtighten screws, especially those threaded into the radiator.
• Glue is optional but recommended for the V-shaped joints if the case will be transported frequently.
