In the old forests, the badger was never just an animal. Celtic tribes saw it as a creature of the earth itself, stubborn, fearless, and deeply rooted. It didn't retreat, it held its ground. This piece captures that spirit — a badger's face carved in flowing tribal patterns, surrounded by a wild mane that seems to move on its own, like something that came straight out of the ancient wood.

This one looks different from every angle. Front on it stares you down. From the side it almost disappears into its own mane.

Print Settings:
Printed standing at 0.16mm layer height for the best surface quality and detail. Tree supports recommended. Laying it down should also work but I haven't tested it myself — standing is my go-to for crisp results.

About the Model & Painting:
This piece already looks stunning in raw black, but with a dry-brush finish it transforms into a true centerpiece artifact. The face and tribal patterns were dry-brushed in Nicpro Copper, picking out every line and spiral against the black base. The flowing mane around the outside got a bronze treatment, giving it that warm, aged feel that really makes the copper on the face pop.

Looks great on a wall, but honestly it hits differently mounted on a door too. 🦡
