This is the "High Capacity" edition of my octagonal battery holder system. These 3-row wide grids are designed for building substantial battery packs, such as e-bike batteries, powerwalls, or large portable power stations.

Why use the 3-wide series?

  • Maximum Stability: Using a 3-row block creates a very rigid core for your battery pack, minimizing flex and stress on the nickel strips/spot welds.
  • Integrated Wire Channels: The signature octagonal geometry creates consistent gaps between every cell. This is critical in large packs for routing BMS balance wires safely through the center of the block rather than around the outside.
  • Thermal Management: The open-corner design ensures no heat pockets are trapped in the middle of the pack.

The Set Includes (Grid Sizes):

  • 3x2
  • 3x3
  • 3x4
  • 3x5
  • 3x6
  • 3x7

Printing Instructions:

  • Material: ABS, ASA, or PETG only. Do not use PLA for high-current battery packs as the heat generated by cells can deform the plastic and cause short circuits.
  • Fit: Calibrated for a precise friction fit.
