This model faithfully recreates the millennia‑old landmark of Tengzhou, Shandong—the Longquan Pagoda. During the design phase, I carefully accounted for the diverse possibilities in post‑printing finishing:

• Paint‑Ready Design: The model’s intricate surface details—such as the tilework and bracket sets—are exceptionally sharp and well defined. In the renderings, I used white PLA for 3D printing and then hand‑painted the model with acrylic paints, bringing out the rich textures and imbuing the ancient structure with a sense of authentic patina and historical gravitas.
• Height‑Based Color Variation: While I opted for manual painting, the pagoda’s design is ideally suited for “Color Change at Layer Height” printing. Even if you don’t have a multi‑color printer like the AMS, you can easily pause the print at specific layer heights and swap filaments to achieve a striking two‑tone effect, seamlessly blending the tower’s body with its elegant spire.
