Here is the latest version of the Smash Pad, The SNES edition!
It continues the solid, simple, slappable design of the Smash Pad but with a Nintendo inspired look.
I admit, it's better with some games, not everything is well suited, an example would be Street Fighter 2, half circle special moves can be a challenge but it is possible.
A big plus would be that it is easy and accessible and if you have trouble gripping a pad or have just not used one before then mashing big buttons is a joy.
A standard arcade (~28x16mm) micro switch required for each button.
You will probably need a PCB control box to fit either an original pad PCB or a encoder into, so you can wire everything together:
