Before we knew it, Little Fatty is about to turn one! As my cybernetic “son,” I figured it was high time to give him a proper upgrade~!

Let’s start with the skeleton—easy enough to whip up.

And let’s add a little Zhi too—why not?

And just like that, it’s done!

I’ve named him CL-Q1S: Rock‑Faced Forward Special Edition—Silver Edge Iron Defender

Overview:

  • The scale remains 1/15.
  • The design still channels the iconic Rock‑Faced Universe aesthetic.
  • The chest, head, and forearms retain the signature Rock‑Faced Forward styling from previous iterations.
  • The shoulders have been completely redesigned: the one-piece components have been replaced with a multi‑color assembly approach—and even the end caps now feature universal mounting interfaces.
  • The legs have been entirely reworked, with the overall leg shape closely mirroring the heavily armored legs of my earlier Dummy13 Reinforced model (maybe I’ve got a bit of a soft spot for meaty legs…):
    • We’ve built in a simple internal skeletal structure.
    • The thighs and calves have both been lengthened to a noticeable degree—Little Fatty: “I’ve grown taller!”
    • The heavy‑duty armor has been redesigned, and the rear calf armor can now be magnetically attached to the front armor, creating a seamless connection.
  • The feet have been completely overhauled:
    • The overall size has been significantly reduced.
    • Interference between the feet and lower legs has been minimized, while the range of motion has been greatly expanded.
    • The single-piece construction has been replaced with a multi‑part, multi‑color design—adding intricate detailing to the instep and incorporating rocket thruster nozzles at the heel.
  • The backpack retains the “Command Arrow” design from the Rock‑Faced Forward, but thanks to the use of smaller horns and a compact lithium battery, the side-mounted weapon pods have been swapped out for a “Guerilla” tactical missile system—much smaller in volume and delivering dramatically improved balance.
  • The electrical system:
    • Zhi AI: The compatible circuit board remains the 40mm x 40mm Zhi AI board from JourneyTech.
    • Horns: We’ve upgraded to much smaller 3W 4Ω speakers.
    • Battery: A new 500mAh lithium battery has been added.
    • Wiring: Simply connect the positive lead of the dome light through a resistor, then [parallel] it across the two speaker terminals.
  • Non‑Printable Components List:

    • JourneyTech 40x40 Circuit Board
    • 4W 3Ω Speakers (approx. 20x33x9mm—any size smaller than this will work)
    • 500mAh Lithium Battery (approx. 18x30x8mm—any size smaller than this will do)
    • 5mm Dome Lights
    • 150Ω Resistors
    • USB Type‑C Data Cables
    • 5V 1A Charging Adapters
    • 4x2mm Round Magnets (x2)
    • 6x2mm Round Magnets (x4)
