This Hydroponic Tower is a sleek, elegant, and timeless 3D printable system designed for efficient home hydroponics. The construction is simple, clean, and beginner-friendly while still offering smart and innovative functionality.
The design prioritizes reliability, aesthetics, and ease of use, making it ideal for both beginners and experienced growers.

The proportions of the tower were carefully designed using the Golden Ratio, resulting in a visually balanced structure that is both aesthetically pleasing and naturally harmonious in form.

🌿 Growing Possibilities (Fully Modular Design)

The tower is fully modular, allowing you to easily customize the height and growing capacity depending on your needs.

Each module includes:

  • 🪴 5 planting slots
  • 💧 Each pot holds approximately 200 ml of growing medium

The increased pot volume supports stronger root systems and allows you to grow larger plants such as:

  • 🍓 Strawberries
  • 🌿 Herbs
  • 🥬 Leafy greens

📏 Recommended Maximum Height

For optimal stability:

  • Up to 2 taller modules, or
  • Up to 3 shorter modules

Building higher than recommended may reduce stability and make the tower more prone to tipping.

💧 Watering Pod System (Precision Irrigation Design)

The model package includes multiple parts labeled:
“watering pod with hose”

Each file name begins with a size designation, for example:
8/3 mm

  • The first number = inner diameter of the hose
  • It should match the outer diameter of the pump outlet
  • The second number = diameter of the irrigation holes

This allows flexible compatibility with different pumps and desired flow rates.

⚠️ Important Assembly Rule

  • Only the topmost pod should be the “watering pod with hose” version
  • All lower levels should use standard watering pods with a center hole

The center hole allows the hose to pass cleanly through each level, ensuring consistent vertical water distribution throughout the entire tower.

The watering pods are specifically designed with precisely fitted cutouts positioned above each pot, inspired by the spout pattern of a watering can.

The base reservoir has a maximum capacity of approximately 5 liters.

However, the minimum recommended operating level is 3.5 liters.

This is important because submersible pumps require a specific water column height above them to operate efficiently. The recommended pump (listed in the accessories section) needs about 3 cm of water above the pump to maintain proper pressure and stable flow.

Water level reference:

The built-in float indicator shows the change in water level (around a 1.5 L range), but it should be treated as a strictly orientational indicator, not a precision measurement tool.
Its purpose is to help you quickly monitor the general water level and refill in time while ensuring enough water remains to maintain proper pump pressure and circulation.

  • 📌 If the pump’s built-in suction cups are not strong enough, you can lightly glue the pump to the bottom of the reservoir for better stability.
  • 💧 Always maintain at least 3.5 liters of water to ensure proper pressure and smooth circulation.
