I have accumulated quite a few cables over time and would like to keep them close accessible, but tucked away a bit. So I created yet another cable holder.  I used simple slots to slide in the cables. The angle of the holder ensures that the cables can't fall out by accident. The cable holder can be mounted using double-sided tape and with the lid attached is just a small extension of the table (see the last pic of the make)

Dimensions:

• The model is 5,5cm long, 20cm wide, and 7cm high
• The holder has 6 thin slots (for smaller cables like usb and audio). Those slots are 0.55cm wide and 3.5cm long
• For larger cables (like ethernet, hdmi, power cables) the model has two slots, that are 0.7cm wide and a 4.5cm long. At most this can take connectors of up to 6cm length (assuming that you would like to attach the “lid”)

I recommend the usage of the provided .3mf file. I also supply two .steps files: Cable_Holder_Part1.step is the cable holder itself, Cable_Holder_Part2.step is the lid
