The FNT Anti-Vibration Feet Plate Storage is the perfect accessory, designed to save space while reducing noise and vibrations during printing. This holder is engineered to be sturdy, stable, and discreetly positioned under your printer, freeing up valuable desk space and ensuring quieter, more stable printing.

The printing profile also includes a LogoPlate with numbers in a different color. I can't print multiple materials at the moment, so I'll use illustrative photos from X1C :-(

 

This version of the holder is specially designed as a base/stand under Elegoo Centauri printers series. It's actually very simple - just place the printer on the assembled holder and you're done. Don't forget that for proper function you will need Elegoo or BambuLab Anti-Vibration Feet. (BambuLab Anti-Vibration Feet with FNT Elegoo Centauri Carbon AntiVibration Adapater )

 

There are several ways to use this stand:

1. Recommended version with Anti-Vibration Feet (Elegoo or BambuLab)

2. If you don't want/don't trust the Anti-Vibration Feet, simply print out the reduction rings, insert them into the holes for the feet, and place the printer with the original feet in the holder. This will create a 5mm gap for air circulation under the printer. Finf 

3. If you prefer the design over anything else, don't bother with the Anti-Vibration Feet or the reduction. Simply place the printer in the holder. There will be no gap between the holder and the printer. Be careful, this solution works, but due to the lack of ventilation, damage to the printer may occur!

 

 

 

 

FNT Anti-Vibration feet plate storage under Elegoo Centauri series

Introduction

I have many build plates for both Prusa and Bambu printers and very limited space for storage. So I decided to create plates holder with eject button for easy insertion and removal.

Inserting and removing build plates goes very smoothly. There is no danger of the printing surface getting dirty from greasy fingers :-)

By pressing the button, the build plate ejects approximately 3 cm. By inserting the build plate, the button will pop out easily.

Vertical placement/sticking to the side of the printer also works great.

What non-pressing parts will you need?

  • Original Anti-Vibration Feet Elegoo or Bambu compatibility
  • 4 pcs of Pads
    • Silicone round, 19mm max. diameter
    • Foam round, 40mm max. diameter
  • M4 screws are no longer needed. The model includes plastic pins and a mounting tool.

 

The holder contains several interesting solutions:

  • Interchangeable labels on the sides. A simple click inserts the label, a hole on the other side allows it to be removed.
  • Just place the printer on the Base Plate holder. The shape of the place for the Anti-Vibration feet has been improved, so the feet fit nicely and without problems. No additional Anti-Vibration Feet Adapter is needed.
  • The build plates in the holder do not shake or make any other bad sounds.
  • Inserting and removing build plates goes very smoothly.
  • Model / profile printed on Centauri Carbon, X1C, P1S.
  • To make sure there was no problem with tolerances and everything would work, I used Bambu PLA Basic, but also the cheapest PLA I managed to buy (8.9 euros/kg), but also old PLA with varying filament thickness. Of course everything works great. :-)

 

Printing instructions

  • Please use the included print profile. It is tuned and tested for optimal results
  • I use A side /  Textured Plate 60°C and PLA. I have no problems printing on Centauri Carbon and X1C.
  • Print only on closed printers such as Centauri Carbon, X1C, P1S, H2D, but some parts tested and prointed also on A1mini
  • Before starting printing, make sure the build plate is clean and degreased. If necessary, use 3DLac.
  • Use only good quality filament to avoid problems with peeling/non-functional buttons due to poorly printed surfaces. Bambu PLA Basic is OK
  • Do not increase the speed or change the height of the layer
  • layer 0.2mm, supports: yes, use Brim
  • When I used SuperTack and the recommended 45°C, the model peeled off

Assembly:

  1. First of all, please remove the top glass. When working, it is necessary to tilt the printer. This will prevent possible damage to the top glass. I also recommend vacuuming the printer. This is an ideal opportunity, because when you tilt the printer, all the mess will spill out. :-)
  2. Print Holder body (Front, Back and side parts), buttons and arms of selected version
  3. For trouble-free installation, I recommend marking the PINs and mounting holes with a marker. This will help a lot during the installation itself.
  4. Slide Front / Back parts into the Side parts
  5. Insert the PINs into the mounting holes, with the dots facing each other.
  6. Use the tool provided. At the pivot point, press the tool with your thumb to push into the PIN. Gently turn the tool 90 degrees clockwise. It sounds complicated, but it's really quick and easy. If the tool is damaged, use another one. This depends a lot on the quality of the filament.
  7. Insert button to the holder. Slide in / out several times to clean slot and button bar from printing imperfections
  8. Rotate Holder body
  9. Align the button and arm teeth according to the picture. Push the arm into the holder firmly. First attach the upper arms (1 and 2), then the lower arms (3 and 4).
  10. Test whether the button and arm move easily
  11. Install Anti-Vibration feets on the printer. When inserting the feets, you will need to turn them slightly to make sure they fit properly. Once this happens, press firmly to lock them in place.
  12. Install your printer on the holder
  13. Install logo plates

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

An emergency button / arm removal procedure

If for any reason the arm or button needs to be removed, I am adding an emergency removal procedure. The removal should not damage the body of the holder, but the button and arm will likely be damaged.
