This is a setup to demonstrate the factors that affect the periods of pendulums. Using the four pendulums you can show students the following truths:

  • Period is not affected by the weight of the pendulum
  • Period is not affected by the drop height of the pendulum
  • Period is only affected by the length of the pendulum
