⚔️The Seven Swords Unite🗡️ We’re Like Sweet Potatoes~

( •̀ ω •́ )✧ TL;DR: The Seven Swords have now been fully updated— all 7 blades (Changhong, Bingpo, Ziyun, Yuhua, Benlei, Qingguang, and Xuanfeng)! Links to download the models are provided at the bottom— sweet potato fans, head over to “The Seven Swords Unite” and give them a try! Thanks for your support!

Model Overview

Mini Telescopic Sword 4 – Bingpo Sword: Inspired by the iconic Ice Soul Sword wielded by Blue Rabbit in the classic Chinese animated series “Rainbow Cat and Blue Rabbit,” this sword has been completely redesigned with optimized proportions tailored for 3D printing. To ensure safe handling for children, the originally sharp edges have been softened, while subtle ice-themed details add an elegant touch throughout.

This is the fourth installment in my mini telescopic sword series—crafted using Fusion 360, printed in one piece without the need for assembly. With a print time of roughly 2 hours, the dimensions are perfectly suited for both adults and kids to enjoy. I plan to continue expanding on this series in the future.

Parameter Notes: Hand‑drawn supports (please don’t change these 😂), no brim, otherwise standard settings apply.

Notes:

1. It’s best not to attempt printing multiple swords at once—doing so increases the risk of print failures.

2. A warm winter reminder to prevent warping: Clean the build plate, heat the bed to +5°C, and apply a light coat of adhesive or primer.

3. If the first few layers of the model fail to adhere properly and you’re unable to complete the print, simply use a craft knife to carefully trim away any excess material.

4. If a particular section of the sword doesn’t extend smoothly, it may be due to slight extrusion issues or layer misalignment—just try extending and retracting the blade several times, and it should glide effortlessly.

Acknowledgments—Feel Free to Skip if You’d Like 😘:

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who loves the “Rainbow Seven” mini telescopic sword series! Your unwavering support made it possible for me to complete this entire collection so quickly—had I followed my usual laid‑back pace, I might not have finished until next year. But knowing that so many of you were eagerly awaiting this set, I decided to do my absolute best to release everything before the Lunar New Year—and finally, I’ve completed it! It feels amazing, incredibly satisfying, and truly exhilarating! Personally, I’ve gained a lot from the design and production process, and I’m so grateful for your encouragement. Since there’s still plenty of room for improvement in my skills, please feel free to share any feedback or suggestions—I’ll do my best to refine and optimize the designs. Thank you all for your patience and understanding!

Design Insights—Feel Free to Skip if You’d Like 😘:

  • When designing the mini telescopic swords, I set a strict print time limit of around 2 hours—just enough time for everyone to pick up their creations during those brief moments after work, when they’re heading home. That’s why the swords aren’t overly long or bulky—they’re more like “little knives.” But precisely because of their compact size, they’re perfect for both kids and adults, ideal for everyday play. Even if there are minor imperfections or print failures, or if the sword gets damaged over time, it won’t weigh heavily on your mind.
  • All seven swords were completely reimagined from scratch, starting with rough sketches—not AI-generated designs, and certainly not just tracing lines from existing images. While I did draw inspiration from the original prototypes, the final forms weren’t exact replicas; instead, I adjusted the overall proportions to create a harmonious balance between form and function. Some of the original designs featured sharp angles and intricate details, which posed challenges for printing—but I carefully optimized each element to ensure smooth, reliable results.
  • Simply replicating the original designs would’ve felt a bit too predictable, so I added personal touches and subtle embellishments wherever possible. However, given the small print size, many of the finer details ended up being impractical to capture—so I spent a lot of time balancing between adding detail and simplifying the design to maintain a clean, polished look.
  • While digging through old anime archives, I discovered that the appearance of these swords kept evolving over time, with color schemes constantly shifting. Honestly, I was a bit overwhelmed trying to keep up with all those changes!
  • To my surprise, I found that the “Rainbow Seven” anime series is now available on Bilibili in stunning 4K quality.
  • I was equally surprised to learn that Bilibili, XHS, and even the official “Rainbow Seven” account are actively updating content—and doing so quite frequently!
  • During a company dinner, I casually handed a few test prints to my colleague’s young daughter, and she couldn’t put them down—she played with them nonstop, giving her own seal of approval. There’s no amount of points or rewards on a platform that can compare to that kind of pure, heartwarming joy.

“A man must have courage,

He wields his sword and roams the world,

A woman carries the heart of a warrior,

Her gentle spirit fills the mountains,

The Seven Swords unite,

We are like sweet potatoes,

For the sake of our beautiful homeland,
We watch over one another,
We’ll watch over each other forever.”
