I designed this stand to go with the Vader saber, but it should also work nicely for other similar lightsabers if you want a simple vertical display stand with a bit more character than just a plain base and hook.

I was definitely a little inspired by UnimatrixRed’s saber stand style, but wanted to make my own version with my own spin on it and push it more toward a dark side / Sith look.

The base uses an Imperial crest detail set into the front, and for the black section of the base I used CNCKitchen’s BumpMesh tool to add a crystal-like texture to give it a more jagged, corrupted dark side feel. I think it turned out pretty cool and makes it look a bit more interesting than just a flat base. That said, I have also included a smooth version if you want something a bit cleaner and simpler.

A simple little side project, but I think it suits the Vader saber nicely and gives it a much better display option than just leaning it on a shelf like some kind of savage.

I’ll probably work on a Jedi/light side version next as well.
