Nut Plating
Nut storage
Nuts for still-life photography

This is a small object designed for “eating while putting things away”—a compartmentalized nut tray with a central container.
The design was inspired by a common little hassle when snacking: the desk quickly becomes cluttered, nuts get mixed together, there’s nowhere to put the shells, and drinks also take up space. So I integrated all these needs into a single, cohesive structure.
The overall layout follows a “central + ring-shaped partition” design:
- The central cylindrical area can hold a beverage can or serve as a shell-storage zone.
- The surrounding divided compartments are used to neatly sort and display different types of nuts.
- You can eat while casually tossing the shells into the designated spot, keeping the desk tidy at all times.
This design features no complicated mechanisms or superfluous functions; it simply uses a small structural tweak to make the act of snacking a bit more convenient and effortless.
Simple, yet just right.
