Design Concept
This retro children’s toy features a UFO-inspired design and operates by pulling a string to make it ascend along the cord. The design draws inspiration from classic forms while incorporating vibrant colors to capture children’s attention.
Design Objectives
The toy combines entertainment with educational value, helping children understand the principles of balance and mechanical structure, while also enhancing hand–eye coordination and fine motor skills.
Printing Recommendations
It is recommended to use brightly colored PLA filament to maximize visual appeal and ensure strong layer adhesion for durability.
Assembly Instructions
Pass the string through the designated holes and tie a secure knot to prevent slippage. Feel free to customize the color scheme and assemble the star-shaped parts and other components as desired. A 2 mm cotton cord works particularly well for the pull-string mechanism.
