This Chinese chess board isn’t just for playing games—it also doubles as a convenient storage box for your pieces. The board itself is relatively large; I designed it as a four‑panel structure, assembled using traditional mortise-and-tenon joinery. The board can be opened and closed, and when folded shut, it locks securely in place. Inside, two built‑in compartments provide dedicated storage for the chess pieces, with each piece neatly housed in its own individual slot.

The assembly process requires no glue or screws—but it may take a bit of effort to put together. Please avoid forcing the pieces during assembly!!! If you’re unsure how to assemble it, check out my TikTok video (Wangzai · 3D Printing).
