🥚 Design Philosophy:
In the past, IKEA dominated the pegboard market—but today, the pegboard landscape has become a patchwork of “feudal lords,” with countless variations in hole patterns, hole spacing, and board thicknesses. This diversity has created significant limitations when it comes to accessory compatibility. To address this challenge, I’ve developed a series of “modular” and “universal” pegboard accessory models, designed to help users overcome the frustration of struggling to find the right accessories for their pegboards. The core concept is simple: let the connector hooks handle board-specific adaptations, while the accessories themselves provide universal compatibility. By simply printing the corresponding connector hooks, you can install the same accessory on virtually any type of pegboard—breaking down the barriers that once restricted your choices.


🐣 Model Features:
- Universal Compatibility: Simply swap out the “connector hooks” to adapt to a wide range of mainstream and non‑standard pegboards—including IKEA Skådis, square-hole pegboards, round-hole pegboards, and more.
- Modular Ecosystem: The accessory end features standardized grooves, allowing us to continuously expand the range of compatible accessories.
- Stable Structure: The accessory grooves are designed based on common multiples of standard hole pitches—typically aligning closely with the most prevalent IKEA hole spacing—to ensure precise alignment at both ends, keeping the assembly snug and vibration‑free.
- Screwless Assembly: The entire structure is printed in one piece, with hook-and‑slot connections that deliver fast, secure installation.

🐥 Assembly Instructions:
- Insert Hooks into the Board: Based on the groove length, securely attach the appropriate number of connector hooks to your pegboard. Different hole patterns require different insertion techniques—details aren’t covered here; please refer to the “Connector Hooks” link to download the corresponding files and learn the proper insertion methods.
- Align the Grooves: Match the long, narrow groove on the back of the accessory with the connector hook.
- Lock into Place: Push firmly until you hear a satisfying “click”—this confirms that the hook has engaged with its pre‑set locking position.
- Press to Secure: Once the accessory is properly aligned, press down on the accessory model to complete the installation and secure it onto the board.

📐 Dimensional Measurement Guide (Important!):
Before printing, be sure to measure or verify the dimensions of your pegboard and select the corresponding hook file:
Hole Spacing: Measure the vertical distance between the centers of adjacent holes.
Hole Dimensions: For oval slots, note the length and width; for square holes, measure the side lengths; for round holes, record the diameter.
Common Thicknesses: Fiberboard pegboards like those from IKEA typically have a thickness of 5.0 mm, while custom‑made pegboards often come in 5.0 mm. Commercial metal pegboards usually range from 1.0–2.0 mm in thickness.
🧩 Printing Instructions:
- Recommended Settings: The accessory grooves only require minimal support—do not adjust the support settings.
- Material Selection: For the hook components, we recommend using PETG or ABS—both offer excellent toughness, ensuring that the hooks remain durable and resistant to breakage during assembly and disassembly.

- We suggest first printing a “hook test piece” to confirm the tightness and fit between the hooks and your pegboard before proceeding with large‑scale production.
