Whenever I’m taking photos with my phone, I always feel that holding it isn’t very convenient.

So I decided to whip up a magnetic selfie grip—just on a whim.

I went through five different iterations before settling on this design, and I have to say, this version offers the most comfortable grip.

The grip is perfectly sized for the Pro Max series, while still being compatible with smaller devices as well.

The grip features a built‑in Magsafe magnetic transmitter.

It measures an inner diameter of 46 mm, an outer diameter of 54 mm, and a thickness of 2 mm—standard sizes that are widely available on most e‑commerce platforms. Refer to the image below for sizing details.

With a built‑in pause feature, you can easily insert a magnet into the grip—just make sure the magnet faces upward while the adhesive pad faces downward!!!

The bottom of the grip is equipped with threading, allowing it to be directly mounted onto a stand or tripod.

In the future, I’m planning to add a Bluetooth shutter button and ND filter attachment—though for now, those are just “big-picture ideas” for the long term!
