When printing the existing molecular sieve storage box, we found that most designs suffered from the following issues:

 1. The numerous openings in the housing resulted in insufficient structural strength, making the box prone to breakage; 2. The box often gets stuck inside the material tray, making it inconvenient to remove.

To address these challenges, I designed this molecular sieve storage box, which is perfectly suited for 3A molecular sieves (with particle diameters greater than 3 mm). I incorporated a sloped edge along one side instead of fully hollowing it out, and increased the wall thickness to 2.0 mm on each side—this design significantly enhances the box’s durability. Additionally, with an overall diameter of 52 mm, the box fits seamlessly into most standard material trays, making it an excellent choice whether you’re storing it in a filament bin or sealing it in a vacuum bag. We recommend printing several units at once so you’ll always have spares on hand.
