World Cup Majin Buu–Erling Haaland Edition: A Towering Team of Celebrating Comrades
On July 6, Norway defeated five-time champions Brazil 2–1, with Erling Haaland scoring both goals. The post-match scene of his teammates forming a human pyramid and embracing in celebration sparked the inspiration for this creative collectible toy. By blending Haaland’s rugged, Majin Buu‑like persona with a three-tiered stacking structure made from capybaras as substitutes, the piece captures the passionate camaraderie of athletes supporting one another on the field and sharing in victory.
I crafted the model using two types of filament combined with marker painting. Haaland is made from matte pink PLA, accented with gold, white, and light blue paint, while the three capybaras are constructed from pink PLA and feature selective marker detailing.
