This case is designed for the Xianyu‑style defective‑screen version of the weather clock. It is compatible only with the 8266 mini and the Control‑version displays; compatibility with other versions has not been tested (and is unlikely). The XCB‑version back cover does not include a switch‑mounting slot, whereas the XCBB‑version back cover comes pre‑drilled for a switch (a SS12D toggle switch, secured with hot glue; intended for battery‑powered models).
