This wheel has been put to real-world use in our project. Our goal is to build a jumping robot capable of leaping over 60 cm. However, the biggest challenge lies in ensuring the wheel’s durability upon landing. This particular wheel passed our rigorous testing and proved its resilience. Any robot wheel that must withstand significant impact can adopt this design, leveraging its exceptional deformation capability to absorb and dissipate shock forces.
