I. Inspiration and Origins
This piece draws its inspiration from the essence of Gothic architecture in medieval Europe. The design seeks to distill that sacred, elegant, and slightly melancholic atmosphere into a compact form, so that each photograph placed inside resembles a treasured scroll preserved within an ancient cathedral.

II. Aesthetic Form

• [Layered Depth]: The design employs multi-layered three-dimensional relief techniques, with a towering outer frame and a deeply recessed inner frame, creating a strong sense of spatial depth. As light and shadow shift, rich contrasts of brightness and darkness emerge.

III. Material Essence: The Perfect Match of Dark Silk Metal
To bring this design to life, I strongly recommend using “Dark Silk Metal” filament for printing. (Unfortunately, I don’t have this filament myself.)

• Visual Harmony: The “dark” tone establishes the somber, mysterious foundation of Gothic style, while the silky sheen accentuates every edge and pattern, subtly shifting in intensity with the play of light.

• This material softens visible layer lines into delicate textures, giving the frame both the robust strength of metal and the smooth, velvety touch of fabric—perfectly mimicking the aged patina of antique silver or blackened iron.

• Installation Notes: Eight 12mm-diameter magnets, each 3mm thick, are required. A small amount of glue may be needed; please ensure the magnetic poles are aligned consistently during assembly.

• Both 5-inch and 6-inch photos can be securely held via magnetic attraction.
