This pair of earrings takes the dragon-shaped mythical creature from the “Classic of Mountains and Seas,” associated with Leize and the imagery of the Thunder God, as its creative prototype, drawing on the ancient mythological symbol that “the dragon governs thunder and rain and connects the energies of heaven and earth.” In the myth, Leize is the abode of the Thunder God; legend has it that dragons are born in water marshes and command wind, rain, thunder, and lightning, embodying the awe-inspiring power of nature.

In the design, the central dragon head stands majestically and upright, while the dragon body coils gracefully around it, faithfully recreating the symmetrical composition of traditional coiled-dragon motifs. The outer frame features sharply angled, lightning-shaped cutouts, evoking the piercing, dynamic lines of thunderbolts cleaving through the sky. A multicolored opal is set at the heart of the piece, resembling the electric sparks deep within Leize, while the blue veins adorning both sides echo the imagery of rain clouds. Overall, this design captures the grand, mythic fusion of dragon and thunder from ancient lore within a compact space, reinterpreting the fantastical aesthetic of nature and living beings intertwined in the “Classic of Mountains and Seas” through modern craftsmanship.

② You can customize the piece by adding gemstones according to your preference; however, you will need to purchase an additional earring post separately. I printed this at a layer height of 0.08 mm using PETG filament, with colors of your choice.
③ If you wish to print smaller-sized earrings, we recommend switching to a 0.02 mm nozzle and setting the layer height to the minimum, which will produce exceptionally fine details. Alternatively, you can scale up the model to create pendants, luggage tags, or other decorative items—there are countless possible applications.
④ The model includes预留 areas for glue curing; simply apply UV glue mixed with gold powder and let it harden. You can also customize the piece with your own preferred gemstones, making it a one-of-a-kind creation uniquely yours.
⑤ Since I dislike removing supports, I opted for flat printing. If you desire a three-dimensional effect, just print two pieces and bond them together.
