① Commercial use is prohibited; if you distribute this design externally, please credit the source. Please respect original designs—thank you!
② You can customize the interior with gemstones according to your preference; just purchase an additional earring back separately.
③ I printed this model at a layer height of 0.08 mm using PETG filament in a color of your choice. The dimensions are fully adjustable—simply scale the model to suit your needs. The default size reflects my personal preference; if you’d like to print smaller earrings, we recommend switching to a 0.02-mm nozzle and setting the layer height to the minimum for exceptionally fine detail. Alternatively, larger models lend themselves well to creating pendants, luggage tags, and other decorative items—there are countless possible applications.
④ The model includes designated areas for adhesive curing: apply UV glue mixed with gold powder, then cure it. You can also customize the gemstones to your own taste, making this a truly one-of-a-kind piece tailored just for you.

This accessory takes the auspicious bird from the “Classic of Mountains and Seas”—the luan bird—as its theme, seamlessly blending ancient symbols of good fortune with classical pattern aesthetics to create a work that embodies both refined elegance and a mysterious, ethereal quality in the traditional Chinese style.
The main body features a matte gunmetal finish, with a lotus-petal-shaped cutout serving as the outer frame. Inside, the luan bird perches on a blossoming branch, its wings spread wide and its tail feathers fluttering gracefully. The intricate feather patterns are rendered with remarkable realism, capturing the bird’s lively grace. At the tips of the tail feathers, a shimmering purple hue mimics the iridescent sheen of real luan plumage, while embedded glitter particles evoke starlight catching on the feathers, lending a soft yet opulent glow against the cool, hard metal base. The combination of cloud motifs and floral patterns further enhances the classic charm, resulting in smooth, flowing lines that retain a sense of dynamic tension.
According to the “Classic of Mountains and Seas—Western Mountains Chapter,” the luan bird is an auspicious divine creature from ancient mythology, resembling a phoenix with five-colored plumage and a clear, melodious call like a sheng or xiao. Legend has it that when the luan appears, peace reigns throughout the land, symbolizing good fortune, harmony, and purity. It is the embodiment of “beauty and peace” in Eastern aesthetics. Wearing this accessory is not only a tribute to traditional culture but also carries the hopeful meaning of “the luan’s song heralds a prosperous age, guiding our hearts toward light.” It pairs beautifully with a variety of styles, including traditional Chinese attire and subtle vintage looks.
