The twentieth Cat Tarot card, also known as the nineteenth card, “The Sun,” can be customized with additional parts to turn it into a hanging plaque; it can serve as a bookmark; it can be used for divination; and by attaching a magnetic backing, it can even double as a refrigerator magnet—truly versatile!

The Sun card symbolizes the joy of life. The golden sun is the source of all life, from which everything springs forth. A little kitten, full of childlike innocence and wearing a cheerful smile, rides atop a mouse, leaping forward in pursuit of freedom. The flower garland on the cat’s head and the familiar feather are identical to those worn by the Fool and Death cards, said to represent transcendence over death and rebirth. Golden sunflowers bloom around them like an artificial garden. Yet the cat seems uninterested in this man-made beauty, choosing instead to chase the unadorned natural world—just as its bare body is real, natural, and pure. The sunflowers all face the cat rather than the sun, as if to tell us: a pure, natural, and authentic individual stands above the sun—a state far surpassing power and wealth, and the very source of happiness, just as the joy radiating from the cat’s face.

The interpretation of the Sun card is relatively straightforward and can essentially be summed up in one word: “auspicious.” No matter what question is asked, the answer is generally favorable. As for why it’s auspicious, it comes down to the person themselves. To put it somewhat mystically, it’s because their aura is profoundly lucky; in practical terms, this manifests as a cheerful personality, a positive mindset, friendliness toward others, and lively conversation. When you’re around such a person, it feels as though the sun is shining brightly and warmth fills every corner—wherever they go, impurities seem to be dispelled, vitality abounds, and no evil spirits dare approach. Unless one harbors deep-seated shadows or fears the light, who wouldn’t want to be near someone like that? Who wouldn’t want to invite them to a dinner party? Who wouldn’t want to collaborate on a project with them? Whether teacher, classmate, boss, or coworker, who wouldn’t want to be friends with such a person? Everyone around them naturally seeks closeness, which in turn elevates their social standing and attracts a steady stream of good fortune.

However, the interpretation of the Sun card also has its subtleties. Like the Star and Moon cards, it may only reflect the subject’s subjective experience rather than objective reality. Although in mixed-card spreads, major arcana cards typically focus on the querent’s inner state, the Sun, Moon, and Star trio holds a unique quality. For humans who have lived on Earth for millennia, celestial bodies in the sky have always seemed impossibly distant. Despite thousands of years of effort, humanity has only managed to land on the moon; the sun and distant stars remain utterly out of reach. By contrast, earthly entities like emperors and towers are tangible, concrete things, whereas the sun, moon, and stars are far more abstract concepts. Consequently, their metaphysical and psychological significance outweighs their literal, material meaning.

The card face is an original design, measuring 8×12 cm with a thickness of 2.8 mm.
 

For optimal results, we recommend using a 0.2 mm nozzle; however, a 0.4 mm nozzle will also print normally, as shown in the image below.

Materials used:
If using AMS filament, normal printing settings are fine; if using non-AMS filament,

start printing in black,

switch to red at layer 10,

switch to sunshine yellow at layer 19,

and switch to white at layer 27.
