DIY Fish Tank Plan

Based on the glass you have and the desired tank size, scale the model’s length, width, and height accordingly.

Go to a building materials market and ask for leftover glass scraps; have them cut to your specifications.

Just one tube of glass adhesive—and the total cost will be only a little over ten yuan.

In many makeshift fish tanks, people simply use glass adhesive to bond the glass panels directly, often with the edges polished afterward.

However, when making a homemade tank, we took into account the risk of cuts and the need for structural strength, so we built this supporting frame.

Once the glass is securely sealed with adhesive, attaching it to the frame poses no problem at all.

Be sure to use a clear, structural-grade glass adhesive—don’t opt for ordinary, low-strength adhesives.
