Currently, most mainstream Jike vehicles come equipped with this small-card type. However, some models—such as the 2024 AE8 and AE6—may use the larger, bank-card-sized version, in which case my protective case won’t be compatible. Let me briefly clarify this point.

I’ve chosen color schemes inspired by three iconic mecha from the popular IP “Neon Genesis Evangelion”—the colors of Unit-01, Unit-02, and Unit-00—to enhance the visual appeal of this model. Before downloading and printing, you’ll need a specific hardware accessory:You can easily search online for “mother-and-child rivets” on major e-commerce platforms and select the 4×5 size, as shown in the image:

It’s very affordable—about 1–2 yuan for a set of 10 mother-and-child rivets. Just pick whichever vendor offers the best price. One important note: when purchasing, you may encounter two types of screw heads—one is a Phillips head, and the other is an internal hexagon socket. Regardless of which type you choose, as long as the size is 4×5, it will fit properly. For Phillips-head screws, use a Phillips screwdriver; for internal-hexagon screws, a 2mm hex wrench works perfectly. The hex wrench included with the TONGZHU 3D printer already comes in a 2mm size, so there’s no need to buy a separate wrench.
