I have an idea: when people think of storage, they usually picture neat, box-shaped containers with straight edges and a regular form.

Recently, while organizing the items on my desk and trying to find a good way to store them, I realized that frequently putting away and taking out small, everyday objects was quite inconvenient. So I decided to create a convenient, on-hand storage solution—but I didn’t want to go with the usual square or rectangular box design; I’d simply grown tired of it!

Since it’s Easter, I thought I’d make something egg-shaped. Initially, I planned to design a three-tiered structure where each tier could rotate open along the edge. However, adding connecting axles would introduce visible joints on the surface, which would detract from the overall aesthetic. Therefore, I came up with a drawer-style design instead: it preserves the egg’s smooth, rounded silhouette while clearly communicating the product’s key features at a glance.

Then I saw this white egg-shaped drawer box, and it inspired me to try making a simple little boat next time. Stay tuned—there’s sure to be more to come!
