For the character Bai E from “Honkai: Star Rail,” we designed a translucent relief sculpture inspired primarily by his core identity as the “Savior who bears the Flame.” The foreground of the model could feature a serene close-up of Bai E’s face or one of his iconic, dynamic poses, while the background is rendered as either the fractured Skyreach City or a blazing vortex. When lighting is applied, light filters through the thinner sections of the relief, casting his silhouette against the dark backdrop—while simultaneously revealing the hidden Traveler’s Emblem of the Burning Flame or the numerical codes symbolizing the Cycle of Rebirth. Through the interplay of light and shadow, this design subtly conveys the weighty destiny that lies beneath Bai E’s outwardly gentle demeanor.
