Shanhai Jing Mecha Series 129 – “Celestial God” Type III Dual‑Energy Cannon Main Battle Tank

This series features mechas inspired by the mythical creatures depicted in the Shanhai Jing. Other notable series include the Bagua Mecha (based on the renowned mountains and rivers of each province, such as Chaohu Lake, Mount Lishan, Badaling, and Namtso Lake) and the Mythical Mecha (featuring characters from Chinese mythology, including Sun Wukong, Yang Jian, and the Ox Demon King).

The Shanhai Jing series is further subdivided into multiple sub‑series, including the Biological Form Series, Mechanical Form Series, Fighter Jet Series, Aircraft Series, Warship Series, Armored Vehicle Series, Tank Series, Multi‑Purpose Engineering Armor Vehicle Series, Rotary Engineering Armor Vehicle Series, Engineering Cargo Truck Series, and Military Armored Train Series, among others.

This particular model represents the fourth iteration of the third design variant of the main battle tank.

First Variant: The 96 “Si” Type IV Single‑Horn Heavy Cannon Main Battle Tank

Second Variant: The 122 “Qie” Type II Defensive Armor Main Battle Tank

Third Variant: The 126 “Tiangou” Type II Laser Cannon Main Battle Tank

Simple to print, easy to assemble, lightweight yet sturdy, highly detailed, quick to build, resistant to breakage, requires no support structures during printing, and can be assembled without glue!

Note: 1. If the parts are difficult to snap together by hand, simply use the tool hammer provided on the homepage—align it with the corresponding tabs and gently tap it into place.

        2. To prevent print failures, we recommend applying a thin layer of adhesive or using a release spray on the print bed—most print failures occur because the print surface is too smooth.

Prints require no supports (though if your base plate isn’t adhesive, you can add a skirt around the edges yourself), and assembly doesn’t require glue or hardware—just apply firm pressure or give it a gentle tap with a small mallet if the pieces feel a bit tight. This is an incredibly convenient Chinese‑style assembly model!

Celestial God:

Its form resembles that of an ordinary ox, yet it boasts eight legs, two heads, and a horse’s tail—and its bellowing sounds like the delicate vibrations produced when a membrane is blown across a musical instrument. Wherever this creature appears, war is sure to follow.
There is a Celestial God whose appearance is like that of an ox, with eight legs, two heads, and a horse’s tail; its voice is like the sound of a booming drum. When it appears, war breaks out in the surrounding region. —— Shanhai Jing · Western Section, Third Chapter
