The mounting bracket on the woodworker’s electric drill locator had repeatedly cracked after just a few uses—no matter how many replacement brackets I ordered from customer service, they all broke almost immediately.

So I decided to create a custom, reinforced design and print it myself. Both PLA and PETG are suitable for printing; however, if the part will be used outdoors or exposed directly to sunlight, we recommend using PETG for better durability and UV resistance.

You can print in multiple colors—or just one color. Since only the first layer requires multi‑color printing, you can easily add a pause during the print job and manually switch between colors to achieve multi‑color effects.
