Updated on 2/11/2026: All parameters have been adjusted to a layer height of 0.12 mm to minimize the risk of print failures.
Upcoming Update (2/11/2026): We’ll soon begin releasing updates for the remaining torso components and other body parts. Due to the substantial workload, we simply won’t be able to complete everything in one go—so we’ll be rolling out updates in phases. Stay tuned to see the full build as I print it all out!
Important Notes Before Printing! Notes! Notes!
1. This file will continue to be updated by Ing until the “Unicorn Full-Set Complete” is finished. Current progress: Upper Body—Status: Completed
2. In light of the wildly popular “exploding armor” designs circulating online, I’ve made thorough adjustments to ensure perfect joint compatibility. Many parts are highly comparable in appearance, but please note: these models are not fully interchangeable!!!
Key Considerations:
1. The upper body of this Unicorn GK draws inspiration from MGEX’s aesthetic design—it’s a fan‑created work developed independently through custom modeling. While many fans have requested RQ-style internal structures, I’ve done my best to accommodate those requests—but unfortunately, some components still don’t quite align. To avoid unnecessary material waste, I recommend using the “boil-and-bake” post‑processing method for printing.
2. The upper-body chest plate can be fitted with lights; however, due to limited time, I haven’t included lighting features in this version. Players with DIY skills are encouraged to explore and customize their own lighting solutions—many empty mounting slots have been预留 for just that purpose.
3. As I’m still in the early stages of FDM printing and have yet to fully grasp the nuances of assembled models, I’ve primarily referenced the designs of MegX and RQ. Thank you for your understanding and support—I’ll continue refining and improving this project going forward.
4. The blueprints are exclusively published by the author on DY and on this channel.
The completed model stands at 1 meter tall. For now, we’re releasing the [Upper Body] update—please pay close attention to the parameter settings and ensure proper alignment.
By default, we’re using PETG for the internal structure and PLA for the outer armor, paired with a 0.4 mm nozzle and a 0.12 mm BBL print resolution—resulting in an exceptionally smooth, high‑quality finish! If you’re unsure about certain PETG settings or feel uncertain about specific parameters, we recommend switching to PLA for printing instead.
“I’m eager to share this somewhat rough draft with you—but I also wanted to officially unveil our planned release here, hoping you’ll enjoy it!”
Assembly is straightforward and user‑friendly; each assembly kit includes detailed annotations. If you’re still unsure how to proceed, head over to Douyin and check out Huai Zong’s Latte tutorial for step‑by‑step installation guidance and expert advice.
