This 3D‑printed bionic hideaway is specially designed for ornamental shrimp, drawing inspiration from honeycomb structures to create a complex yet airy, three‑dimensional maze through the layered stacking of hexagonal voids. The white, semi‑transparent material diffuses light softly within the aquarium, while the fine print layering on the surface mimics the subtle texture of natural rock. The interwoven spaces inside the module offer multiple hiding spots and exploration paths—providing environmental relief for shrimp while also serving as a modernist sculpture within aquatic plant layouts.
