With the theme “A Home Away from Home,” this desktop ornament combines traditional calligraphy and seal-carving elements to create a piece that exudes both Chinese aesthetic charm and an evocative atmosphere.
Source: “When guests arrive, there is no fear of calamity, no dread of bandits or thieves, nor concern about dryness or dampness.” (Spring and Autumn Annals, Zuo Qiuming, Zuo Commentary, Year 31 of Duke Xiang)
Due to similar character structures, the phrase “Bīn Zhì Rú Guī” is often mistakenly interpreted as “a woman’s treasure”: in semi-cursive and cursive scripts, the cursive form of the character “Bīn” closely resembles “Fù”; the connected strokes of “Zhì” can easily be mistaken for “Nǚ”; the cursive forms of “Rú” and “Zhī” are quite similar; and the traditional or cursive form of “Guī” shares certain contour overlaps with the cursive form of the character “Bǎo” (寶).
- Layered design: stone‑grain base color + black calligraphy + red seal, printed in multiple colors as a single piece, eliminating the need for post‑printing coloring
- Built-in stand: the base and main body are designed separately, ensuring stable placement while also allowing it to function independently as a standing display
- Detailed reproduction: calligraphic brushstrokes and seal textures are rendered with crisp clarity, enhanced by striking light-and-shadow effects, resulting in a high level of print fidelity
Printing is quick—approximately 1.5 hours—and consumes around 25 grams of filament.
