Robotic Gripper – Left–Right Structure

 

  • Center-Gear Bi-Directional Linkage Design At the top, an SG90 servo motor drives a central driving gear. This gear simultaneously engages two symmetrical racks on either side, directly actuating the left and right gripper jaws to open and close in unison. The transmission is balanced, ensuring symmetrical opening/closing strokes and evenly distributed gripping forces, allowing even a small servo to achieve stable clamping.

  • Compact Frame-Style Housing Layout The entire structure adopts a semi-enclosing frame design, with the servo compartment independently mounted at the top. This results in a compact, streamlined body without unnecessary bulk. The 3D-printed modular shell is secured with screws for easy disassembly and replacement, while the gripper head can be customized as needed. A lightweight design effectively reduces the end-effector load of the robotic arm.
