I have long been captivated by the mathematical precision and enigmatic aesthetics of the Maya civilization—the geometric structures of their pyramids, the symbolic language embedded in their deity masks—feel as though they belong to another dimension or era. This pen holder represents my attempt to use 3D modeling and 3D printing technology to “translate” the totems of this ancient culture into tangible, contemporary objects, transforming it on your desk into a bridge between past and future.

The pen holder’s opening is cleverly concealed behind the crown-like ornament; viewed from the front, it appears as a standalone sculpture. Only when you insert a pen do you discover the ingeniously designed aperture at the top—like a scepter rising from a divine crown. The internal structure has been meticulously engineered to securely hold commonly used pen types, while the weighted base ensures a stable center of gravity, preventing tipping even when the holder is fully loaded.
