Notes: Battery welding is required. Do not attempt this if you lack experience.
The procedure I follow is to first tin a section of nickel strip, then use a spot welder to attach two sections of nickel strip to the battery’s positive and negative terminals.

Connect one wire from each terminal to the corresponding positive and negative terminals on the protection board.

For the connecting wires, it’s recommended to use thin wires (such as DuPont wires; if you’re concerned about high current, you can bundle several DuPont wires together before soldering—thick wires are too stiff and difficult to route).
The capacity of the 18650 batteries can be any value.

Please note that there are currently two versions of this board available on Taobao; the product page clearly indicates the differences between the two. Simply choose the version that suits your needs.

 

1. Solder the wires onto the battery.

2. Connect the wires to the protection board.

3. Insert the button into the top cover.

4. Place the shield on the back of the protection board, align the Type-C port, and then insert the top cover.

5. Once the small retaining clips are in place, tighten one M3×10 screw (M3×12 is also acceptable).

6. Align the top cover with the screw holes on the main body and tighten four M3×30 screws.

7. There are eight decorative screws on both the front and back sides; use M3×10 screws (M3×12 is also acceptable).
