Since the size, shape, and construction of third-party filament spools vary widely, some spools tend to slip out easily. This small clip can be printed using just a few grams of filament; after securely installing the spool, simply snap the clip onto the rotary axis support. When removing the spool, be sure to first detach the clip—use a small screwdriver or a thin tool that can fit into the gap to gently pry open one side, as shown in the final image. We recommend printing with PETG; PLA may lack sufficient toughness for this application.
