The model actually measures 1.8 meters in length, but it’s designed solely for static applications such as photography and exhibitions—far from suitable for dynamic combat scenarios.

The reason lies in the FDM printing process: while FDM parts are exceptionally strong in the vertical direction, they’re remarkably fragile in the horizontal direction, unable to withstand the forces of inertia. To ensure a printed object is robust enough, you need to add multiple wall layers—but this also results in each component being quite heavy. The greater the mass of an object, the stronger its inertial effects; when swung with force, the load applied to thinner sections can easily cause them to snap right off.

Therefore, long and large FDM models are not ideal for vigorous swinging or high‑impact maneuvers. Be sure to carefully consider the intended use of your print before starting the build.
