Hahaha, this is so much fun.

Hardware is simple:

A spring with an outer diameter of 25 mm and a length of at least 60 mm; the wire diameter here is 1.5 mm, but you can adjust it to 1.6 mm if needed.

A small spring: 0.5 × 5 × 20.

O-ring: 35 × 3.1.

M3 × 12: two pieces.

M3 × 8: three pieces.

A rubber washer—use whatever’s available within a 30 mm diameter.

A short length of high-strength rope.

Glue.
